Family Photography at Baker Beach [Bay Area Professional Photography]

I love photographing families at Baker Beach in San Francisco. The setting is both gorgeous and varied! For these sessions I always advise clients to be ready for any weather, it can be gorgeous and sunny or dramatic and foggy or simply overcast. All of these conditions lead to terrific photos! When shooting at Baker Beach I always start my shoots using some of the natural elements that are there. We then head to the beach for some great shots, both posed and candid. Its fun to catch the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Be prepared to get you feet wet by the end of the photosession.

Newborn Photography Session with Adorable 2 Month Old Baby [by Professional Photographer Lisa Noble]

I had a wonderful session with this little cutie! He was a eating when I arrived. By the time I set up my studio in the living room of his home, he had finished his meal and was burped and ready to go! I started the session shooting him against the white backdrop using my studio lights. He adored the flashes of light and was mesmerized! He needed a few feeding and burping breaks because he was slightly fussy with tummy issues. But with a little patience he worked through his issues and was an adorable model.

I always allow extra time for my newborn shoots knowing that newborns will often need lots of feeding, burping and diaper change breaks. Patience is the key. Wonderful photos can’t be rushed.

When we had gotten plenty of poses of him all by himself and terrific family shots I swapped to the black backdrop. With newborns, I like to shoot using both the white and the black backgrounds. I adore the crisp clean look that the white background provides. I love the drama that the black backdrop offers.

Family Photography in the California Hills [by professional photographer in San Carlos, Bay Area]

Just before Christmas I had the opportunity to photograph this lovely family. They really wanted their session to include the golden California hills and grasses. I suggested that we shoot at Edgewood County Park in San Carlos. We met just before sunset to create some sun-kissed images for them. I feel so fortunate to be a photographer here in the San Francisco Bay Area where the weather is wonderful for outdoor on-location photography sessions year-round. Enjoy!

Double the Fun [Bay Area Professional Family and kids Photographer]

I had so much fun photographing these energetic twins in my studio. I adore studio shoots for this age because it allows me to get such a great range of expressions. The twins arrived in their adorable pajamas which really popped against the white backdrop. They also brought along several outfits including raincoats and boot which I always recommend for a few fun shots. So cute! For this photosession I decided that we could have some fun with fall leaves. Before the session I gathered a whole bag of fall leaves and kept them hidden until the session was almost done. When I pulled out the bag of leaves, they boys were so excited. They thought that bringing fall leaves inside was a grand idea!

What I enjoyed most about these boys is how much they loved being with each other. It really showed in their photos. What a special bond they have!

Baby Photography Session [Bay Area Family Photography]

I just finished a session with this adorable little guy! I love photographing babies! He arrived at my photography studio in San Carlos (in the San Francisco Bay Area) hungry but was so excited by the strobe lights and the new environment that he forgot about food and gave us a bunch of adorable smiles. With a little coaxing he was willing to look at my camera. After a bit of fun posing he took a food break and was back at it giving us big smiles and laughter. He is so exuberant! He loves to take in the world with those big eyes and he especially loves being held by his moms. Thank you for such a fun session!

I met this wonderful extended family at Elizabeth Gamble Garden Center in Palo Alto for a family reunion photoshoot. I love shooting extended families. I usually start the session by photographing the large group and then break down to smaller groupings of various family members. I always shoot plenty of individual shots as well. I’ve been a professional photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 10 years and I still never get tired of photographing newborns and babies! So sweet, so innocent, so small and so satisfying. I know how quickly your baby is growing and how important it is to capture your little one through their first year of growth. This session is of a two month old. This darling was able to maintain eye contact and support his head. He was a bit fussy so we were patient. It is always worth the wait to get terrific shots!

I am so excited to launch my new web site and blog. I ended up tossing what I’ve been using for years and started anew. The goal is to provide you all with an easy to navigate site and blog that works on whatever device you happen to connect with.

I have been a professional photographer since 2005. I love shooting families, children, newborns and events. I shoot both natural light and in studio with strobes. I can advice you on the type of session that would be most suited to your needs.

I am also an invited Getty Image Photography and have had my images published in numerous publications including Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Conde Nast, and The Huffington Post. My work has also been seen on The Colbert Show!
