Family Photography in the California Hills [by professional photographer in San Carlos, Bay Area]

Just before Christmas I had the opportunity to photograph this lovely family. They really wanted their session to include the golden California hills and grasses. I suggested that we shoot at Edgewood County Park in San Carlos. We met just before sunset to create some sun-kissed images for them. I feel so fortunate to be a photographer here in the San Francisco Bay Area where the weather is wonderful for outdoor on-location photography sessions year-round. Enjoy!

Double the Fun [Bay Area Professional Family and kids Photographer]

I had so much fun photographing these energetic twins in my studio. I adore studio shoots for this age because it allows me to get such a great range of expressions. The twins arrived in their adorable pajamas which really popped against the white backdrop. They also brought along several outfits including raincoats and boot which I always recommend for a few fun shots. So cute! For this photosession I decided that we could have some fun with fall leaves. Before the session I gathered a whole bag of fall leaves and kept them hidden until the session was almost done. When I pulled out the bag of leaves, they boys were so excited. They thought that bringing fall leaves inside was a grand idea!

What I enjoyed most about these boys is how much they loved being with each other. It really showed in their photos. What a special bond they have!

Family Photography Mini Session [Twin Pines Park in Belmont, California]

Family Reunion Photography at Elizabeth Gamble Garden | Palo Alto, CA in the SF Bay Area

I met this wonderful extended family at Elizabeth Gamble Garden Center in Palo Alto for a family reunion photoshoot. I love shooting extended families. I usually start the session by photographing the large group and then break down to smaller groupings of various family members. I always shoot plenty of individual shots as well. Families end up enjoying the session more than they anticipated.
